Introduction
Abiding Together
After we receive Holy Communion it is the best time to abide with Jesus in personal prayer with Jesus in THE Heart (both from the heart and really He is one with us)
Jesus sits in victory, and we sit with Him (cf Lk 22: 28-30)
We’ve hopefully spent ourselves over the course of the week being the mouth, hands, and feet of Jesus and ‘are those who have continued with Him in the trials)
We’ve eaten and drunk with the Lord Jesus at table
Now we sit to set things right (to judge). Sitting here is not done out of lazyiness but a symbol of the co-missioning because of what comes next. (Blake used to think it was holier to kneel until the final prayer but my attitude has changed)

Have we entrusted our life to that grace or is it MY life and MY plans
Trust in God’s providence as He sends you out and be open to grace and following where He calls.
