Today I sat down with Sr. Edith Mary, CK. We talk about her role as superior our the local convent, choosing a new name, and the virtue of obedience. 

The section of the Catechism of the Catholic Church on prayer opens with this thought, "In prayer, the faithful God's initiative of love always comes first; our own first step is always a response." The first movement of our prayer then must be aware of God who is already looking at us. We discuss in this episode how to enter into prayer with this awareness.

In this month's episode we are sharing a little bit of counsel on the when, where, and how of entering into prayer with Our Lord. We'll be discussing these topics in great depth during the first parent discussion time on Nov. 30th at 7 pm.
